I’m Charlotte Forbes

I am a multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter from Calgary, AB, who has been musical since the age of 4. I later began to take violin lessons, at age 5. Furthermore, as a recording artist, I recorded my first song, called “Cattitude,” when I was just 12 years old. I continued to professionally record songs through my teenage years, and recorded my first self-released full-length album at the age of 16. A year later, I released my first music video. Moreover, I continued to record music, and released an extended playlist album recorded at Bryan Adams’ studio with a band of professional musicians when I was 19; I later worked with the same recording studio and musicians to release a full-length album at the age of 24. I continued my musical journeys through live performances at local bars, pubs, cafes, and other live venues, and will release another full-length album in the coming weeks or months, in early 2025. As a multi-instrumentalist, I primarily play the violin and the piano, and have won various awards as a violinist, though secondarily, I play the trombone, the viola, and the electric violin. As a singer-songwriter, I have held a record deal as a teenager, and I currently hold a publishing deal.
